CODE CAMP FUNDAMENTALS
Grades 5- 8

Hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of computer science and application programming. Start with block programming in Microsoft MakeCode and move to Javascript programming in Google Apps. Build a solid foundation for further exploration of application programming, game programming, and robotics.

ROBOTICS CLUB
Grades 5 - 8

Put your new coding skills to work building and programming a robot! Learn hardware programming with AdaFruit Circuit Playground Express and Crickit. Using motors, wheels, sensors, and a little creativity, build a machine that detects and reacts to impact and sound!

Typing club foundations
For Grades 4 - 6

In 2020, computers are a reality of a student's life. Learning efficient typing skills will help students more fluently utilize this technology.
In Firefly's week-long Typing Club - Foundations, students will learn the foundations of touch typing: posture, finger placement and movements, speed, and accuracy. Skilled typists emerge from Typing Club!
